Website backups are encrypted and stored in private cloud storage that is completely separate from your hosting provider. If your host fails, is breached, or disappears, your recovery copy is not sitting on the same infrastructure.
We verify backups are restorable. Access is limited to the ReviveGuard team members responsible for protecting your site — not shared for advertising or unrelated third-party use.
To deliver the service we may process: your contact details, website URLs and technical metadata, hosting and CMS information you share, portal account credentials (stored securely), backup archives of sites we protect, ticket messages, and billing details handled through our payment provider.
Evaluation requests use the information you submit so a real person can review your site and reply with written findings.
You can request a copy of your most recent full backup when you cancel. You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete personal data we no longer need to provide the service or meet legal obligations.
Clients in the UK, EU, and other regions with privacy laws can contact us to exercise applicable rights. We respond as promptly as practical — typically within one business day for contact, and within a reasonable period for data requests.
